When I first started dating my husband, he would make me those really buttery biscuits for breakfast. Being German, biscuits for breakfast were something new and SO American, and while I liked them a lot, I remember how greasy they were.
Fast forward 14 some years (talk about feeling old…yikes), I was looking for some new breakfast ideas to surprise my guys. I remembered the biscuits, and while the store-bought version was out of the game due to not being vegan, I started looking for a healthier, vegan alternative.
I came across this amazing recipe by Gimme Some Oven. It is super easy, all you need are 3 ingredients, which I usually have on hand, and the biscuits taste heavenly! They are made with Coconut oil, which reduces the greasiness and makes them a great option for both vegan and non vegan biscuit lovers . We like to top them with some homemade raspberry chia jam. YUM!
